​The mission of the Town Clerk’s office is to accurately maintain all Town records, conduct elections with professionalism in accordance with State Law, issue State and Town licenses, and provide information to both Town officials and the general public in a friendly and confidential manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate elections for the Town and State  
• Record and maintain all vital statistics (birth/marriage/death) for the Town
• Issue hunting/fishing licenses
• Issue dog licenses
• Renew/issue boat, ATV, and snowmobile registrations
• Collect excise tax on motor vehicles/renewing registrations
• Serve as the custodian of all official Town records
• Preserve official Town records
• Maintain a complete and accurate record of all Town proceedings
• Track all board and committee memberships and facilitate the appointment process
